Day of resistance to school closings tomorrow, 12/22

Thursday, December 22, 2011, actions in defense of our schools Support our members, support our schools! CTU members are needed to join with parents, teachers, PSRPs, and students at our schools slated for turnaround, closing, and phase-out!
WHAT: Parents, CTU members, alumni and community allies are organizing seven actions to save their schools!
HOW: CTU members can attend any of the actions to support our members. This show of solidarity will show our members at the targeted schools that they are not alone—they have their union sisters and brothers walking with them.
WHEN: Thursday December 22, 2011, at various times during the day.
WHERE: Seven different school locations on the south, southwest, west and northwest sides
